‘THE BOAT’

Opened in 1998, Le Bateau (the boat), is a well established bar and restaurant, designed around a nautical theme.  Le Bateau attracts all ages, a large majority of which are some of the worlds top surfers and windsurfers.

We aim to create a lifestyle experience, by opening all day, where you can come in for, breakfast, lunch, for a nibble, or evening to try our a la carte menu. At weekends get your party shoes on as we have DJ’s on every Friday & Saturday night!.

Le Bateau cater’s for everyone from a romantic candlelit dinner for two, right up to large parties.  Our menu’s have been devised by our award winning Head Chef, Jamie. We offer  Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner Menu’s, an A la Carte Menu and Party Menu’s, so there is something to enjoy for everyone….

We have undertaken many changes over the years (as our regular customer’s know!) to always give something new and interesting for our customer’s, and to adapt and change with the times.

Le Bateau has seen Ashley Cross grow to become a very popular place to visit, with it’s numerous bars, restaurants and shops.  Ashley Cross is very much a local community area. Le Bateau is a member of Pubwatch.  This ensures the safety of our customer’s and ensures that our customer’s can have an enjoyable evening.
